    • Ernest Albert (Alfred) Gravett married Aletta Susannah Adriana Meyer and lived at Rooikraal until 1912 when he purchased a block of land at the corner of Central Ave and Fountains Road, Edenvale. In the mid 1920's he moved to Varkfontein where he died in 1947. His brother, William Henry Gravett also died at Varkfontein - and is buried there with Ernest's daughter Catherleen Wilemina
