My Lord,
Being desirous to embrace the offer made by Government to persons disposed to settle at the Cape of Good Hope I shall feel much obliged by your sending me a circular letter (which I understand is printed containing the particulars) directed to me at No.32 Southampton Street, Strand. If there are any additional particulars since the first that was published you will further oblige me by enclosing them also. I have been employed in agriculture having had a farm of my own which circumstance has obliged me to part with.
