My Lord,

From the appearance of distress in Ireland its my wish to emigrate together with 10 or 12 families to the Cape of Good Hope, you will therefore have the goodness to let me know by return of post the encouragement proposed by Government to persons wishing to settle in that colony and when and where a conveyance can be obtained for that effect.

I am my Lord

Your Lordship’s obedient humble serv’t

Will’m GRAHAM
