    His Estate Inventory shows ownership of HALF of Botelgat.

    His immovable property given in his Estate Valuation as " remaining extent of Evening Sun 1654 morgen + adjoining 30 morgen, and ERF No. 5, Block K, village of Tarkastad."
    He purchased "Seven Fountains" farm situated in the Somerset field cornetcy of Tarka from John Dempsey on 4th Oct 1842 for 550pounds. (formerly belonged to Johannes Jacobus Jordaan on 15th Feb 1837)

    Letter in Cape Archives requests remission of fines for non-payment of Transfer Duty on Seven-fountains Farm. Henry did attempt to pay these tranfer fees on time, but went to Grahamstown to do so, only to learn that it had to be paid elsewhere. He charged a solicitor named George JARVIS to undertake this on his behalf. Mr Jarvis neglected to pay the dues, and Henry was fined. This is most likely the same Geo.Jarvis who was unlawfully retaining the estate of the late Robert Henman ( whose widow remarried Patrick KEW)

    DIED at Port Elizabeth at the residence of his son-in-law, Mr. James GRADY, on Friday February 15th, Patrick KEOGH, aged 75 years. The deceased came to this colony in the Weymouth in 1819 or 1820.
