Notes |
-
Dianne was born with a massive hole in her heart. It was diagnosed/predicted that she would not live past three years. However, she completed her schooling at Victoria Girls High School having been looked after by her Grandmother, Myrtle, for many years. After Agnes's death, until she was placed in the school hostel, The Headmistress, MS M G Richardson, and teacher, Ms N P C Mathie, took her under their wings and sent her to Dr Chris Barnard, the world-renowned heart peioneer. He was unable to do anything for her. She lived until the age of 24.
