Hi - I think that my neighbour, Erica Bax, may be descended from Jessie
Margaet Bovey who married Alfred EVERITT. Would this fit in with your
research? Erica asked me yesterday to see what I could find about her
family, and gave me some 1970s letters from her father (typed on an old
upright Remington with a ribbon which had long passed its best) in which
me talks of the family. A few photographs, also - who was Berry? 1918
photograph of him in uniform.
Erica's cottage is named Baddaford, and I thought it might be a village,
looked it up, found Devon and as my husband's family come from there,
asked her if it had family significance - hence this letter!
Would be interested to work out the connection and know more of the Devon
ancestors on her behalf.
Go well. Ivy Trott in Fish Hoek.
