My father is Ted Clayton, youngest son and 10th child of Atherstone & Clarice Susanna (Robie) Clayton. (My father's grandfather was Edward (Ted) Clayton). They lived in the Peddie district until 1925 then moved over to the Bathurst area. Pineapple farming started later on, and the Clayton family are until today are still farming pineapples.
If any person has any stories of the Claytons from the 1820 settler days, I would like to know more, thanks.

Hi Paul

Your 'headache' is back! Must learn to save my passwords.

Thank you for all your hard work on this site and for making every settler come alive. It's about time that I started submitting my HILL so that they too can have their place in your 'Hall of Fame'

Best wishes
Becky

Eine Wahnsinns - Website. Bei all meinen Surf-touren ist mir noch nicht so eine informative Site begegnet. Dies zeigt mir das das Internet nicht nur aus Blabla und Schmuddelseiten besteht.

I feel sure that your website will be of great value to all of us who have an interest in discovering the settler families - thanks for providing a service that I have had neither the expertise nor the energy to attempt! However, if I can be of service in any small way, then please contact me. With best wishes for your continued success!

Enjoyed the site James Edwards, is my great great grandfather and I have been researching the family history for a few years. Over the years I have found a few interesting stories about the family. I would be willing to share the information I have put together, with any others researching James and Anne smile

Hi Annette - this site is great.

I am researching my grandmother Mary Ann Edwards who was born in the C ape and I think (hope) she was descended from James and Ann.

smile Excellent site Thankyou for it. I have been reading through what you have and am thrilled.I am a decendant of Philip Frost and have some photos and stories I will look for and send.
Not certain what ICQ is for or AIM also if you are wanting a picture of me or my Frost family.
But once again thankyou I have really enjoyed my time today.

AIM and ICQ are "instant messaging" systems, ie 'texting' to others, and it's asking if you want to add your contact details. Not necessary.

David Frost Friday, 22 January 2010 13:56
Anne I have just discovered this site so don't know whether this response to your 2004 message will be valid. I am also a descendant of Philip Frost and would like to see how I am connected to other branches of the family tree. Regards Dave Frost
