Notes: He farmed very successfully with sheep and cattle on "Dome" near Bolo in the Stutterhein District. They had 11 children, 6 sons & 5 daughters. He was a man of sterling character and was loved and respected by all who knew him. A short while before his death at the age of 91 years,e celebrated their diamond wedding which was attended by a large number of friends and wellwishers.
