• Notes

  Alexander worked for the South African Railways and Harbours Administration mainly in Port Elizabeth. In 1938 he was living at Barkley Bridge, Uitenhage District. He died in a Mental Hospital in Grahamstown which is probably Fort England and his ordinary place of residence is stated as Ivy Lodge, Barclay Bridge in the district Uitenhage.
