  Edward was known as Eddie and after Elizabeth's death he married Isabella Stratford, nee Erasmus, who was the widow of Thomas Stanley Stratford. Eddie farmed at "Cornfields" and then retired to Kidds Beach after the Native Trust purchased the farm which was eventually consolidated into the Ciskei.
