Notes |
- 12 June 1822: Lower Albany Chronicle:Thomas Capper of George Vale was given permission to return to England at his own expense.
This was probably due to the death of his wife Mary.?. He appears not to have taken this up as he appears to have married Eleanor before 1833 - see Sarah Ann's death notice, and 10 September 1855, the Lower Albany Chronicle reports that he had taken over the Albion Inn in Fort Beaufort.
