• Notes

  Can find no trace of them in South Africa after arriving on the Weymouth. The twin children were not listed on the Weymouth muster, so assume that they died before 1820. The Log of the Weymouth indicates that James and Sarah had another child on board. I suspect that they returned to the Uk and Dover, as I have found Emily's marriage to Thomas Rouse in Dover on 18 Jul 1836, and they named their first son Edwin Sloman Rouse.
