Notes |
- General Notes: Edmund and Olive were married just before he left for service in
France in World War I.
On his return from the war, Edmund was transferred to Sekubu - a mission
station about 10 miles from Butha Buthe in Basotuland. Later, Edmund and Olive
returned to Mafeteng, and in 1928 they were moved to Leribe.
In 1938, Edmund retired from missionary work, and went to "Brindisi",
Fouriesburg, where they took over the farming operations of Edmund's father
and cared for the old folk until their deaths. At the time of publication of the
source Edmund was still living at Brindisi".
