• Notes

  14 September 1914 - joined th 10th Battalion King's Royal rifle Corps. 1915 April to July - training at Hamilton Camp near Stonehenge. 21 July 1915 - landed at Boulogne. Feb 1918 - Battalion disbanded - started as a Private, left as a Corporal. Was awarded the Victory Medal 1919, The British Medal, and the 1915 Star Medal. Dec 1921- emigrated to USA on the SS Scythia, established a fruit-growing business mainly in oranges in San Bernadino, Calfornia.
