  I came across the following information in http://discovery.nationalarchives.gov.uk/downloadorder/downloadpreparedfile?id=WO-25-761_1.pdf&iaid=C4397511&reference=WO%2025/761&ordernumber=I/330989237506294M&_cp=&_srt=&_p On page 00066 of the digital image (entry 28?) I noticed Alexander Heddle who was 21 years when he served as Ensign in the Royal York Dragoons, entering service on 4th of May 1809.
