  Thelma Gutsche has ARNOT. member of Moodie's party from Edinburgh on the Garland - not an 1820 settler. He was indentured to Frederick Korsten at Bethelsdorp Mission. Here he met Catherine van Wyk, who was a baptised Hottentot member of the mission . Arnot had to obtain Lord Charles Somerset's and Moodie's permission to marry her because she was not white, but the marriage took place in 1819. [3] Thelma Gutsche has ARNOT.
