Notes |
- She was a very accomplished poultry judge and travelled from agricultural show to agricultural show judging poultry June never married. She also used to write the Somerset community gossip publication for years. Her brother Norman was severely cerebal palsied and never went to school but took her books when she came home from school and taught himself to read and write. He had pen friends all over the world and an awesome stamp collection. He could hardly speak he was so severely disabled but had a very sharp brain. His Xhosa was fluent as well. {Meryl Angela Duncan}
