    He interited his father's talent in motor mechanics, always his main interest. He was apprenticed to Hugh's Motors, Nairobi.
    He played the organ, piano, violin, guitar, saxophone and accordian. He had a glorious boy-soprano voice which was destroyed by polio. This was overcome eventually but by then his voice had broken.
    He attended school at Eldoret and St. Mary's College, Nairobi.
    He was killed in a motor accident.
