Other Information  He was one of a small party that proposed to emigrate under the leadership of Joseph Oldham, but was subsequently absorbed by Bailie's party.
He joined J.E.Ford's subdivision, and in January 1821 he was reported to have become insane. Dr O'Flinn attended him but held out little hope for his recovery.
He died at Cuylerville on 27 January 1821.
