Other Information  Servant to Daniel Venables.Liversage's Party left from Liverpool, and James was taken on as a servant in Liverpool.

The only James Bell I have found that could be him died 13 May 1850 in Simon's Town, but this James was a member of Moodie's Party in 1817

The DN indicates that he was born in Berwick upon Tweed, which is in the far north of Northumberland.
He had married an Ann and had seven children.
