| Other Information | Servant to Daniel Venables.Liversage's Party left from Liverpool, and James was taken on as a servant in Liverpool. The only James Bell I have found that could be him died 13 May 1850 in Simon's Town, but this James was a member of Moodie's Party in 1817 - see https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:S3HY-DB5S-7ZS - The DN indicates that he was born in Berwick upon Tweed, which is in the far north of Northumberland. He had married an Ann and had seven children. |
