Other Information  He was a sugar planter in Antigua, and emigrated to the Cape in the belief that sugar could be grown in Albany.
He was located at Cuylerville and joined Ford's subdivision, which later came under the leadership of T.Flanegan.
After applying unsuccessfully for a government post at the end of 1822, he requested permission to leave the colony and try his fortune elsewhere.
