  Married: Emma Frances (Dolly) Fitchat was the daughter of James and Emma Carlisle and Granddaughter of Capt. Fitchat Royal Navy who fought with Horation Nelson at the Battle of Trafalgar. Her Maternal Grandfather was Capt. Carisle who commanded the s.s. "Chapman" which brought Settlers to the Cape in 1820.
