  The children Joseph, John and Ellen are listed on his DN, but Nash has them as children of his brother Joseph and Mary? His DN also lists a Catherine? and a Mary? As the DN was signed by his eldest son, do we take this as true, even though we cannot find Catherine on any ships list as a settler, unless she was the wife of Timothy? Same for Mary. Ptt - I think this was a classic case of the elder children pretending to be husband and wife to save the costs of their deposits! David later married a Hannah, so Mary was not his wife, but sister.
