  Terry Cockcroft wrote on 23 Jul 2008 on south-africa-immigrants-british@rootsweb.com : "A. John Bradfield b Abt. 1773, the Settler, married to Mary DENNIS. B. Their son, John Bradfield, b Abt. 1795, (also a Settler; he was son of John Snr, but old enough to register on his own), married in abt 1833 I would guess, to Elizabeth Thrale WHITE ( 1st wife) b Abt. 1804, d Abt. 1846. Then married in abt 1846 to Jane DENNISON b abt 1813. She d 27 April 1862. I also have a Jane Kent shown as his wife but I would guess that she is the same person as Jane DENNISON, as I have no other info about her. There were both KENT's & DENNISON's as Settlers. George DENNISON was also on the Albury with the Bradfield's & had a daughter ANN, who is given as 7 in 1820. i.e. born in abt 1813. I now this is a huge guess but could perhaps be the same person???? In 1846, Jane DENNISON would have been 33 years old & unlikely to have still been single. I have very little KENT family info so cannot put 2 & 2 together I am afraid."
