Notes |
- from an obituary:
"Norman Benjamin Randall was born in Kenya where his father was a well-known professional big game hunter. He came to South Africa in 1940 and joined the S.A.A.F on leaving school. After WW2 he qualified as a fitter and turner in Cape Town and thereafter served various local engineering and motor businesses. In 1958 he started his own business in Grahamstown, 'Randall's Engineering', which he ran up to the time of his death. He was exceptionally fond of hunting and fishing and was justly proud of some of his feats."
