  He was in Espin House at St. Andrew's College, Grahamstown. He played Tennis, Hockey and participated in cross country running. While he was at Stellenbosch University for a BSc. Agric. he was killed in a motor accident when 2 drunk coloureds crashed into him. He died in Groote Schuur Hospital and was buried in Middelburg Cemetery. He was a boy with many devoted friends. His death deprived those who loved him of a person who loved life and laughter. Went to St Andrew's College. Did tennis, hockey & drama. Then the Air Force Gymnasium. 3 year BSc Agric Economics at Stellenbosch. Was killed in motor accident 2 drunk coloureds crashed into him. Died in Groot Schuur Hospital. Buried in Middleburg Cemetary. To him who loved life and laughter death was such a vast undoing. [1]
