Notes |
- Frederick William HILES who according to Nash was 38 years old when he arrived with the Settlers, I found that Morse Jones has his age at 54. A Frederick William dies on abt 29th or 30th August 1826 and is buried from St. George's Anglican Church on the 1st Sept 1826. His profession at that time is that of a school master. His wife Mary remarries on 19th January 1927 to William Howard a widower at St. George's Church. If
memory serves me well, William Howard was also a schoolmaster and did a lot of the transcribing of church records as he was well educated and wrote well. [ Tessa King - 30/12/2006 ]
