Other Information  According to the Opgaaf Roll of 1822 analyisis by Prof Alan Brunger, they were in the Albany area at the time.
His wife Jenopha must have died as on 24 January 1829 he marries Elizabeth Messett.
from 1831 he was trading in Griqualand, and did serve in the Grahamstown Volunteers in the 1834-35 war.
He died in Grahamstown on 26 January 1845.
His death notice is at : https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3Q9M-CSQF-6TW2 which states he had no children, and was separated from his wife.
