A 'blue print' copy of a family tree, compiled and drawn in march 1932 by William Butler at 3 Dunkirk Road, Southport, England in March 1932. A number of these blue prints were distributed among Butler family members by Mary Butler (*1884) after a visit she'd made from South Africa to England. In the late 1960's James Butler (*1934) with the assistance of the husband of his cousin Dorothy, Mr W A Murray in Pretoria, had his own, decaying copy photographed. The negative thereof was subsequently passed on in 1996 to James Thomas Butler(*1964).
