Settler Handbook Content: | No. 15 on the Colonial Department list, led by Nathanael Morgan of 19 Shoemakers Row, Blackfriars, London, an Assistant Surgeon of the 81st Regiment of Foot on half-pay. (Like all other half-pay officers who wished to emigrate, Morgan had to make formal application to the Commander in Chief, HRH the Prince Regent, for leave of absence to proceed to the Cape.)
